Uptick was a regular public-health column in Reader’s Digest. Each month, it highlighted a disease, condition or risk factor that was on the rise in Canada. Carefully researched copy and graphs were both put to work exploring the possible causes of—and solutions for—each increase. Here are some examples from March 2015, January 2015 and June 2014:

Hi! I’m a content writer, journalist and editor with graduate-level training and over a decade of full-time experience producing materials for national and international audiences.
